Overhead Triceps Extension with Bed Sheet

The suspension triceps extension done with a bed sheet anchored high instead of straps: leaning forward, the hands bend back past the forehead and press out.

How to do it

Setup

A bed sheet anchored above head height, its ends in both hands, facing away from the anchor and leaning forward on straight arms.

Steps

  1. Bend the elbows so the hands travel back past the forehead.
  2. Keep the elbows pointing forward and the body in one line.
  3. Press the hands out until the arms are straight.

Common mistakes

A sheet tied loosely or anchored low: fix it firm and high before leaning on it. Elbows flaring out: keep them pointing forward. Hips sagging as you lean: brace from heels to head.

Breathing

Inhale as the elbows bend, exhale pressing out.
