Seated Neck Tap
Seated with the arms raised in a wide V, bend the elbows to touch the fingertips to the back of the neck, then press the arms back out.
How to do it
Setup
Seated cross-legged, back tall, arms straight and raised out to the sides in a wide V.
Steps
- Bend the elbows and bring the fingertips to the back of the neck.
- Keep the elbows up at shoulder height.
- Straighten the arms back up and out into the V.
Common mistakes
Elbows dropping as the arms tire: keep them level with the shoulders. Pushing the head forward to meet the hands: the head stays still. Shrugging the shoulders: keep them down.
Breathing
Steady with the rhythm.
