Medicine Ball Lunge with Biceps Curl
A forward lunge holding a medicine ball: the ball lowers to long arms as the back knee drops and is curled to the chest on the way back up.
How to do it
Setup
Standing tall, feet hip-width, a medicine ball cradled at the chest in both palms, elbows bent.
Steps
- Step forward into a lunge, lowering the ball to straight arms.
- Back knee just above the floor, front shin near vertical.
- Push back to standing and curl the ball to the chest.
Common mistakes
Front knee collapsing inward: track it over the toes. Letting the ball drop on loose arms: lower it under control with the lunge. Torso folding over the front thigh: chest up, the ball stays close.
Breathing
Inhale into the lunge, exhale standing and curling.
