Meadows Row

One end of a landmine bar in one hand, standing side-on in a staggered stance: row it up and slightly across.

Meadows Row, illustrated

How to do it

Setup

Landmine bar's free end in one hand, standing side-on in a staggered stance, hinged over.

Steps

  1. Row the bar's end to the hip, elbow flaring up and out.
  2. Let the blade glide forward at the bottom for the stretch.
  3. Keep the stance and hinge still.

Common mistakes

Standing tall mid-set: the hinge holds. Grip dying first: chalk or straps; the back should quit last. Rotating open: the side-on angle IS the variant.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale on the stretch.
