How to do it

Setup

Plank with a hand on each dumbbell, feet wide.

Steps

  1. Row one bell to the hip, hips square.
  2. Return it silently.
  3. Alternate without rocking the plank.

Common mistakes

Hips see-sawing: the plank rules the row; brace first. Round dumbbells rolling: hex bells or none. Rowing high and wide: low and tight to the body.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale returning.
