Landmine Single-Leg RDL
The single-leg Romanian deadlift facing the landmine's anchor, the bar's end in one hand and the opposite leg standing; the pivot steadies the path.
How to do it
Setup
Facing the anchor beside the loaded end of a landmine, the bar's end in one hand, weight on the opposite leg, knee soft.
Steps
- Hinge forward as the free leg rises straight behind, the bar end lowering toward the floor.
- Stop with the torso near level and the hips square.
- Drive the standing hip forward to stand tall.
Common mistakes
Hip of the free leg opening up: keep both hip bones facing the floor. Letting the bar pull the shoulder down: keep the blade set and the arm long. Standing knee locked: a soft bend throughout.
Breathing
Inhale hinging, exhale standing.
