Landmine One-Arm Bent-Over Row

The loaded end of a landmine bar rowed with one hand from a staggered hinge, the bar running back beside the body to its base.

How to do it

Setup

Staggered stance facing away from the base, hinged with a flat back, the loaded end gripped below the collar.

Steps

  1. Row the bar's end to the hip, elbow along the body.
  2. Keep the shoulders square to the floor at the top.
  3. Lower until the arm is long and the blade slides forward.

Common mistakes

Turning the chest open to lift more: the shoulders stay square. Standing taller each rep: hold the hinge. Grip giving out first: hold the bar below the collar, not on the sleeve's end.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale lowering.
