Knee Tuck Oblique Crunch
Lying with the legs long and propped on one forearm, tuck one knee in as the opposite elbow crunches across to meet it, then stretch the leg back out.
How to do it
Setup
On your back, legs straight, one forearm on the floor beside you, the other hand behind the head.
Steps
- Tuck the knee on the forearm's side toward the chest as the other elbow curls across to it.
- Keep the other leg long on the floor.
- Stretch the leg back out and lower the shoulder; switch sides after the set.
Common mistakes
Leaning on the forearm to get up: it steadies; the obliques lift you. Pulling the head toward the knee: the hand only cradles it. Letting the working leg crash down: extend it slowly and keep it just off the floor.
Breathing
Exhale on the tuck, inhale extending.
