Kettlebell Suitcase Deadlift

One bell beside the foot: hinge and stand with it like lifting a suitcase, shoulders level, the free side fighting the lean; switch hands each set.

How to do it

Setup

One bell on the floor beside the foot, stance hip-width, the free arm out for balance.

Steps

  1. Hinge and grip the bell, shoulders level, back flat.
  2. Stand by driving the hips forward; the free side fights the lean.
  3. Lower along the same line to the floor; switch hands each set.

Common mistakes

Leaning toward the bell: LEVEL is the exercise; brace the far side. Rounding the back to reach: hinge deeper, or use a taller bell. Shrugging the loaded shoulder: it stays down the whole lift.

Breathing

Inhale at the bottom, exhale standing.
