Kettlebell Single-Leg Glute Bridge Pullover

A single-leg bridge joined to a pullover: the kettlebell travels from behind the head to over the chest as the hips rise.

How to do it

Setup

On your back, one foot planted, the other leg raised, the bell held behind the head.

Steps

  1. Drive the hips up on the planted foot.
  2. At the same time, sweep the bell over the chest.
  3. Lower the hips as the bell returns behind the head.

Common mistakes

Arching the back as the bell goes overhead: brace the ribs down. Hips dropping on the one leg: squeeze the glute. Bending the elbows through the arc: keep the arms nearly straight.

Breathing

Exhale bridging up, inhale lowering.
