Power Sled Rear Lunge Row

Holding a loaded sled's straps, step back into a reverse lunge and row the straps to the ribs at the same time, dragging the sled toward you.

How to do it

Setup

Standing tall facing the sled, a strap in each hand, arms long, straps taut.

Steps

  1. Step back into a lunge as you row the straps to the ribs.
  2. Lower the back knee toward the floor with the torso upright.
  3. Drive up through the front foot to standing and let the arms go long; alternate legs.

Common mistakes

Front knee caving in: track it over the toes. Folding forward in the lunge: torso tall. Pulling on slack straps: step back far enough to keep them taut.

Breathing

Exhale on the pull, inhale returning.
