Glute Bridge Walk

Hold the top of a glute bridge and walk the feet out in small steps, then back in, without letting the hips drop.

How to do it

Setup

On your back in a glute bridge, hips up, feet under the knees, arms flat on the floor.

Steps

  1. Step one heel, then the other, a little away from the hips.
  2. Keep walking out until the knees are almost straight, hips still up.
  3. Walk the feet back in the same way, then lower.

Common mistakes

Hips sagging with every step: small steps, glutes squeezed. Walking out until the hamstrings cramp: stop short of straight knees. Rocking side to side: keep the pelvis level as each foot moves.

Breathing

Steady throughout; never held.
