Resistance Band Glute Bridge Walk

Glute bridge steps with a band across the hips, its ends pinned to the floor by the hands; the feet walk in as the hips rise against the band, then walk back out.

How to do it

Setup

Lying on your back, legs long, a looped band across the hips, its ends pinned to the floor by the hands.

Steps

  1. Walk the heels in with short steps, lifting the hips into a bridge against the band.
  2. Squeeze at the top, knees over the heels.
  3. Walk the heels back out as the hips lower.

Common mistakes

Hands letting the band slide: pin its ends to the floor. Hips dropping as the feet travel: shorter steps. Arching the lower back at the top: the glutes finish; ribs down.

Breathing

Steady throughout; never held.
