Front Plank Toe Tap

From a high plank, tap one foot out to the side and back, then the other, the hips held level.

How to do it

Setup

High plank on the hands, shoulders over the wrists, feet together.

Steps

  1. Tap one foot out wide to the side and bring it back.
  2. Tap the other foot out the same way.
  3. Keep alternating with the hips square; time it.

Common mistakes

Hips swinging with each tap: brace so only the leg moves. Hips piking up: keep the line from head to heels. Shoulders drifting behind the hands: stack them over the wrists.

Breathing

Steady throughout; never held.
