How to do it

Setup

On all fours, knees under hips, hands under shoulders.

Steps

  1. Drive one heel toward the ceiling, knee bent 90°.
  2. Stop when the thigh lines up with the torso.
  3. Lower without the knee touching; finish the leg, switch.

Common mistakes

Lower back arching past the line: the glute's range ends there. Rocking the hips: square and still. Kicking fast: the squeeze is the rep.

Breathing

Exhale driving up, inhale lowering.
