Dumbbell Reverse-Grip Incline Bench One-Arm Row

Chest down on an incline bench, one dumbbell rowed underhand; the palm-forward grip keeps the elbow tight while the free side rests.

How to do it

Setup

Chest on an incline bench, feet braced, one bell hanging with the palm facing forward.

Steps

  1. Row the bell to the hip, elbow close.
  2. Keep the chest flat on the pad.
  3. Lower to a long arm, then switch.

Common mistakes

Rolling onto the working side: the chest stays flat on the bench. Curling the bell up: the elbow leads. Palm turning in: it faces forward all the way.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale lowering.
