Dumbbell Over Bench One-Arm Reverse Wrist Curl

The palms-down wrist curl one arm at a time, the forearm flat along a bench and the hand hanging past its edge.

How to do it

Setup

Forearm flat on the bench pad, palm facing the floor, wrist just beyond the edge; kneel behind it.

Steps

  1. Drop the knuckles toward the floor.
  2. Lift the back of the hand above the bench line.
  3. Change hands once the set is done.

Common mistakes

Using the palms-up weight: pick a clearly lighter bell. Resting the bell on the floor between reps: keep it hanging for the whole set. Forearm peeling off the pad at the top: it stays flat.

Breathing

Exhale lifting, inhale lowering.
