Dumbbell One-Leg Fly on Stability Ball
The dumbbell fly on a ball with one leg lifted straight; standing on one foot makes the hips and trunk work to stay level.
How to do it
Setup
Upper back on the ball, hips up, one leg straight in line with the body, bells over the chest.
Steps
- Open the arms wide, the lifted leg staying still.
- Keep both hips level over the standing foot.
- Bring the bells together; switch legs each set.
Common mistakes
The hip on the lifted side dropping: squeeze the standing glute. Rushing the arms to keep balance: slow arcs. Leg drifting up or down: hold it in line with the body.
Breathing
Inhale opening, exhale on the squeeze.
