Cross Body Crunch
Lying with the feet down, lift one knee as the opposite elbow crunches across to meet it, then switch; the other foot stays planted.
How to do it
Setup
On your back, knees bent, feet flat, fingertips behind the ears, elbows wide.
Steps
- Curl up and turn one elbow across as the opposite knee lifts to meet it.
- Keep the other foot flat on the floor.
- Lower the shoulder and the foot together, then switch sides.
Common mistakes
Yanking the head toward the knee: the ribs turn; the hands only cradle it. Knee doing all the traveling: lift the shoulder off the floor too. Planted foot lifting: keep it pressed down.
Breathing
Exhale on each twist, inhale returning.
