Cable Rear Delt Row (Stirrups)
The seated cable row with a stirrup in each hand and the elbows held at shoulder height, so the handles travel out to the sides.
How to do it
Setup
Seated facing the stack, feet braced, torso upright, arms long in front at shoulder height.
Steps
- Pull the handles out and back, elbows at shoulder height.
- Finish with the elbows just behind the torso, wrists trailing.
- Reach forward again until the shoulders stretch.
Common mistakes
Elbows sinking toward the ribs: the lats take over; keep them at shoulder height. Rocking the torso back: sit tall; lighter stack. Shrugging as the handles come in: shoulders down, neck long.
Breathing
Exhale on the pull, inhale on the return.
