Cable Incline Bench Row
Perched on a sloped seat facing a chest-height pulley, the torso leaning forward, a bar at shoulder width rowed to the belly.
How to do it
Setup
Seated at the top of the sloped bench, chest leaning toward the stack, feet planted behind, shoulder-width grip on the bar.
Steps
- Row the bar to the belly, elbows along the ribs.
- Keep the lean as the blades squeeze.
- Reach the arms long toward the stack.
Common mistakes
Sitting upright to finish: the lean stays; lighter stack. Elbows flaring toward the upper chest: that is the wide version; keep them in. Hips sliding off the seat: feet farther back.
Breathing
Exhale on the row, inhale returning.
