Cable Kneeling Leaning Forward One-Arm Row

The half-kneeling one-arm row from a low pulley with the torso leaning well forward over the front thigh and the free hand on the knee.

How to do it

Setup

Half-kneeling facing the low pulley, torso leaning forward with a flat back, free hand on the front knee.

Steps

  1. Row the handle to the hip, elbow along the body.
  2. Hold the lean; only the arm and blade move.
  3. Reach the arm long toward the pulley.

Common mistakes

Sitting up as you pull: the lean is the variant. Pushing hard on the knee to help: the free hand only steadies. Rounding the back in the lean: chest long.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale lowering.
