Cable Cross Over Reverse Fly
The bent-over reverse fly between two low pulleys, the cables crossed, the arms opening wide at shoulder height.
How to do it
Setup
Standing between the low pulleys, hinged forward with a flat back, the left handle in the right hand and the right in the left.
Steps
- Open the arms wide until they are level with the back.
- Keep the elbows soft and fixed.
- Let the cables draw the arms back across under control.
Common mistakes
Standing up as the arms open: hold the hinge; the torso angle does not change. Turning the fly into a row: the elbows stay soft and fixed, not bending. Heavy stacks swung up: light and slow; the rear delts are small.
Breathing
Exhale opening, inhale returning.
