Cable 45 Degrees Single-Arm Reverse Fly
The one-arm reverse fly standing upright, the handle from the far pulley taken across the body at shoulder height and opened out wide.
How to do it
Setup
Standing upright between the pulleys, the handle from the opposite side held across the chest at shoulder height, the free arm at the side.
Steps
- Carry the handle out to the side until the arm lines up with the shoulders.
- Keep the elbow slightly bent and fixed.
- Let the cable pull the arm back across the chest under control.
Common mistakes
Pulling with the back instead of the shoulder: the blade stays still; the arm moves. Elbow bending into a row: keep its slight bend fixed. Standing too close to the stack: step back so the cable pulls across the chest at the start.
Breathing
Exhale opening, inhale returning.
