Bodyweight Single-Leg Kas Glute Bridge

The Kas bridge on one leg with no load: the short top range, and the working glute also keeps the pelvis from tipping to the free side.

How to do it

Setup

Upper back on a bench or box, hands behind the head, one foot planted, the other leg lifted with the knee bent.

Steps

  1. Press through the planted heel until the hips are level with the knee.
  2. Dip a hand's width and press again, pelvis kept level.
  3. Finish the set on one leg before switching.

Common mistakes

Pelvis dropping on the free side: level hips are the rep; slow down. Pulling on the head with the hands: they rest there and the neck stays long. Sinking to the floor: stay in the short top range.

Breathing

Exhale pressing up, inhale on the dip.
