Barbell Upright Row
Pull the bar along the body to chest height, elbows leading above the wrists.

How to do it
Setup
Bar at the thighs, grip shoulder-width, stand tall.
Steps
- Pull the bar up along the body, elbows leading above the wrists.
- Stop at chest height or where the shoulders stay happy.
- Lower along the body.
Common mistakes
Narrow grip pulled to the chin: impingement territory; shoulder-width to the chest. Bar drifting forward: it brushes the shirt. Heaving with the hips: strict; the row is small.
Breathing
Exhale on the pull, inhale lowering.
