Band Alternating Biceps Curl
The band curl one arm at a time: each handle rises alone while the other arm waits straight at the thigh.
How to do it
Setup
Feet hip-width on the middle of the band, a handle in each hand, arms long, palms forward.
Steps
- Curl one handle to the shoulder, the other arm straight.
- Bring it all the way down, then switch arms.
- Keep alternating without shifting the feet on the band.
Common mistakes
Both handles creeping up together: one arm rests straight while the other curls. Leaning toward the working side: stand square over the band. Rushing the lowering: the band still pulls on the way down, so resist it.
Breathing
Exhale on each curl, inhale lowering.
