Alternating Dumbbell Bottom-Half Curl
Palms-up dumbbells held at the lower belly; curl one arm at a time along the torso up to a right angle at the elbow, then lower with control.

How to do it
Setup
Bells at the lower belly, palms up, elbows pinned.
Steps
- Curl one bell from full hang to a right angle only.
- Lower it fully before the other starts.
- Alternate, staying in the bottom half.
Common mistakes
Creeping above 90°: the bottom half IS the exercise. Cheating the full hang: the stretch end stays honest. Swinging: half range invites speed; refuse it.
Breathing
Exhale on each curl, inhale lowering.
