TRX Pull-Through

From a reverse plank with the heels in the TRX straps, the hips swing back through the hands into a hovering L, then rise to the plank again.

How to do it

Setup

Reverse plank: heels in the foot cradles of TRX straps hanging low, hands on the floor behind the hips, fingers forward, arms straight.

Steps

  1. Lift the hips until the body is straight from the shoulders to the heels.
  2. Swing the hips back through the hands into an L, the legs straight.
  3. Drive the hips forward and up into the reverse plank again.

Common mistakes

Sitting down on the floor between reps: the hips hover; only the hands and the heels touch. Shrugging as the hips swing back: press the floor away with straight arms. Bending the knees to get through: keep the legs straight; shorten the swing instead.

Breathing

Exhale pulling the hips through, inhale rising.
