Straight-Hip Single-Leg Curl on Stability Ball
The stability ball curl on one leg, the other raised: the hips stay lifted in a straight line while one heel rolls the ball in and out.
How to do it
Setup
On your back, one heel on the ball, the other leg pointing up, hips lifted, arms wide on the floor.
Steps
- Roll the ball in with the one heel, hips rising.
- Hold the top with the pelvis level.
- Roll it back out slowly without dropping the hips.
Common mistakes
Pelvis tipping toward the free leg: both hip bones stay level. Hips dropping as the leg straightens: keep the line. Arms pressing hard into the floor: they balance, the hamstring works.
Breathing
Exhale on the curl, inhale rolling out.
