Reverse Sliding Leg Curl on Floor with Towel
The sliding curl turned around: the heels stay planted and the upper back slides on a towel, the hamstrings pulling the body toward the feet into a bridge.
How to do it
Setup
On your back on a smooth floor, a folded towel under the shoulder blades, legs nearly straight, heels dug into the floor.
Steps
- Dig the heels in and pull the body toward them, hips rising.
- Stop in a bridge with the knees bent.
- Slide back out slowly to the long start.
Common mistakes
Heels slipping forward: the towel slides, not the feet; bare heels or shoes with grip. Pushing with the arms: they lie still at the sides. Collapsing the hips on the way out: lower them only as the legs lengthen.
Breathing
Exhale pulling in, inhale sliding out.
