Seated Row with Towel
Seated on the floor with a towel looped around the soles, row the ends to the waist while the feet press forward into it; the legs set the resistance, no weight needed.
How to do it
Setup
Seated tall on the floor, legs long with the knees soft, a towel around the soles, ends in both hands, arms straight.
Steps
- Press the feet into the towel and row the ends to the waist.
- Squeeze the shoulder blades together, chest tall.
- Let the arms straighten slowly while the feet keep pushing.
Common mistakes
Leaning back to row: the torso stays upright; the arms and blades do the work. Feet going soft: the push is the load; keep it constant. Rounding forward on the return: sit tall the whole set.
Breathing
Exhale on the row, inhale returning.
