Dumbbell Reverse-Grip Incline Row

The chest-supported incline dumbbell row with the palms facing forward, so the elbows stay tight and the biceps work harder.

How to do it

Setup

Chest on an incline bench, feet braced, the bells hanging below with the palms facing forward.

Steps

  1. Row the bells to the hips, elbows close.
  2. Hold the finish without lifting the chest.
  3. Let the bells sink to long arms.

Common mistakes

Palms rolling in on the way up: they face forward throughout. Curling the bells: the elbows drive back. Chest lifting off the pad: lighter bells.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale lowering.
