Ring One-Arm Biceps Curl
Holding one ring with the body leaning sideways away from it, curl the body toward the hand; the free arm stays down and one biceps lifts it all.
How to do it
Setup
Side-on to the ring, feet together under the strap's line, body leaning away in one line, working arm straight toward the ring, palm up.
Steps
- Curl the ring toward the side of the head, pulling the body in.
- Keep the body rigid and the elbow pointing at the ring.
- Lower slowly back to a straight arm; switch sides after the set.
Common mistakes
Hips sagging toward the floor: squeeze the glutes and brace as in a side plank. Elbow dropping into a row: keep it up at the ring's height. Leaning too far for one arm: stand more upright until the reps are clean.
Breathing
Exhale on the curl, inhale lowering.
