Resistance Band Single Stiff-Leg Deadlift with Single-Arm Row

The single-leg stiff-legged hinge into a knee drive and a one-arm row, done with a flat loop band instead of a band with a handle.

How to do it

Setup

Facing a flat loop band anchored low ahead, its end in one hand, weight on the opposite leg.

Steps

  1. Tip over the standing leg, free leg rising behind, loop hand toward the anchor.
  2. Come up tall, pulling the loop to the ribs as the free knee drives up in front.
  3. Return to the hinge with the free foot still off the floor.

Common mistakes

Loop sliding out of the hand at the bottom: secure the hold before the set. Back rounding to reach lower: hinge only as far as the back stays flat. Pelvis turning toward the rowing side: square it to the anchor again.

Breathing

Inhale hinging, exhale on the row and the knee drive.
