Quick Feet In Out Run
Quick feet that step out wide and back in, out-out-in-in, staying low and light on the balls of the feet.
How to do it
Setup
Half squat, feet together, weight on the balls of the feet, arms ready.
Steps
- Step one foot out, then the other, just wider than the hips.
- Step the first foot back in, then the second.
- Repeat the four-count pattern as fast as it stays clean.
Common mistakes
Feet crossing or tangling: each foot keeps its own lane. Rising out of the half squat: stay low. Speed ahead of control: rhythm first, then speed.
Breathing
Fast steady rhythm.
