Lying Alternate Straight Leg Circle
Lying on the back with one leg straight up, trace small circles with it while the pelvis stays still, then switch legs.
How to do it
Setup
On your back, one leg straight toward the ceiling, the other long on the floor, arms by the sides.
Steps
- Draw small circles with the raised leg, keeping it straight.
- Reverse the direction halfway through.
- Lower the leg and switch to the other.
Common mistakes
Circles so big the pelvis rocks: make them smaller. Lower back lifting off the floor: keep it pressed down. Raised knee bending: the leg stays long.
Breathing
Steady throughout; never held.
