Leg Pull Side
Lying long on the side with the head on the outstretched arm, the top leg lifts and the bottom leg rises to meet it; the inner thigh does the lift.
How to do it
Setup
Lying on one side, the bottom arm stretched past the head with the head resting on it, the top hand on the floor in front, legs long.
Steps
- Lift the top leg and hold it there.
- Raise the bottom leg until it meets the top one.
- Lower the bottom leg without resting it; switch sides after the set.
Common mistakes
Rolling back onto the buttock: keep the hips stacked. Letting the top leg sink as the bottom one rises: hold it still. Lifting with a swing: raise the bottom leg slowly and lower it slower.
Breathing
Exhale on the raise, inhale lowering.
