Leg Pull Front Supported
The Pilates leg pull front: in a high plank, one straight leg lifts behind and lowers for the set before the other takes over; the body stays one line.
How to do it
Setup
High plank, hands under the shoulders, legs long and together, body straight from the heels to the head.
Steps
- Lift one straight leg behind as high as the hips stay level.
- Lower it back to the other foot with control.
- Finish the set on that leg, then switch.
Common mistakes
Hips twisting open as the leg lifts: keep both hip bones facing the floor. Lower back sagging: brace the belly and hold the plank. Kicking the leg up with a swing: lift it slowly from the glute.
Breathing
Exhale lifting, inhale lowering.
