Landmine Rear Lunge

The reverse lunge holding the landmine bar's end at the chest; the angled bar steadies the balance as you step back.

How to do it

Setup

Facing the landmine, the bar's end held at the chest in both hands, feet hip-width.

Steps

  1. Step back into the lunge, bar end at the chest.
  2. Lean slightly into the bar as the knee lowers.
  3. Stand through the front foot; switch legs.

Common mistakes

Bar end sliding down the chest: grip it firmly at the sternum. Front heel lifting as you step back: step longer. Pushing the bar away to stand: the legs lift you; the arms hold.

Breathing

Inhale stepping back, exhale driving up.
