Landmine One-Leg Stiff-Leg Deadlift

The single-leg stiff-leg deadlift holding the free end of a landmine bar; the anchored bar steadies the path and the balance.

How to do it

Setup

Standing on one leg beside the loaded end of a landmine bar, the end of the bar held in one hand, knee soft.

Steps

  1. Hinge on the standing leg as the free leg reaches back.
  2. Lower the bar end along its arc toward the floor, back flat.
  3. Drive the hip forward to stand; switch sides after the set.

Common mistakes

Letting the bar pull the shoulder down: keep it packed. Hips turning toward the bar: both hip bones face the floor. Chasing the floor with a round back: stop where the back stays flat.

Breathing

Inhale hinging, exhale standing.
