Landmine Bent-Over Wide Row
A landmine bar with a wide crossbar handle at the loaded end, rowed from a hinge with the elbows flaring out.
How to do it
Setup
Straddling the bar facing the plates, hinged with a flat back, hands wide on the crossbar handle.
Steps
- Row the handle to the chest, elbows wide.
- Squeeze the upper back at the top.
- Lower along the bar's arc to long arms.
Common mistakes
Elbows tucking to the ribs: the wide handle is the variant. Rising out of the hinge as the plates climb: hold the angle. Rounding the lower back to reach the handle: bend the knees and keep it flat.
Breathing
Exhale on the row, inhale lowering.
