Knee Tuck Push-Up
A push-up followed by a hop that tucks both knees in to the chest, the hands staying planted, then back to the plank.
How to do it
Setup
High plank, hands under the shoulders, feet together, body in one line.
Steps
- Lower the chest near the floor and press back up.
- Hop both feet in, tucking the knees to the chest, the shoulders over the hands.
- Hop the feet back out to the plank and go into the next push-up.
Common mistakes
Shoulders rocking back as the knees tuck: keep them stacked over the wrists. Landing heavy on the feet: land softly on the balls of the feet. Push-up shrinking to hurry the hop: full depth first, then tuck.
Breathing
Inhale down, exhale on the press.
