Kettlebell Lying on Floor Single-Arm Bottoms-Up Chest Press
The kettlebell floor press with the bell held upside down by its handle; balancing it demands a hard grip and a wrist stacked over the elbow.
How to do it
Setup
Lying on the floor, the kettlebell upside down in one hand at the chest, forearm vertical, grip tight.
Steps
- Press the bell straight up without letting it tip.
- Keep the wrist and forearm stacked under the bell.
- Lower until the upper arm rests on the floor; switch arms after the set.
Common mistakes
Loose grip: the bell tips at once; squeeze the handle. Forearm tilting out of vertical: bring the bell back over the elbow before pressing. Going heavy: balance limits this press; take a lighter bell.
Breathing
Inhale lowering, exhale pressing.
