Kettlebell Half-Kneeling Halo
The kettlebell halo from half-kneeling; with the hips fixed by the stance, the ribs and the lower back cannot help the bell around.
How to do it
Setup
Half-kneeling, one knee down and the other foot in front, the bell held upside down by the horns at the chest.
Steps
- Circle the bell around the head, close to it.
- Keep the hips square and the down knee's glute tight.
- Switch direction each rep and the front leg between sets.
Common mistakes
Leaning back as the bell passes behind: stay stacked over the down knee. Wide, loose circles: keep the bell close to the head. Holding the breath through the circle: breathe steadily.
Breathing
Steady with the circle.
