Kettlebell Elevated Goblet Squat
The goblet squat with the heels raised on a weight plate, which keeps the torso upright and shifts the work toward the quads.
How to do it
Setup
Heels on a plate, toes on the floor, a kettlebell held by the horns at the chest.
Steps
- Sit straight down between the heels.
- Let the knees travel forward over the toes.
- Drive up, heels pressing into the plate.
Common mistakes
Heels slipping off the plate: set them square on it before the set. Chest folding over the bell: elbows under it, torso tall. Knees caving at the bottom: push them out.
Breathing
Inhale down, exhale up.
