Hanging Knee Circle Raise
Hanging from a bar, the bent knees draw a circle: up to hip height, across, and down the other side, the torso still.
How to do it
Setup
Hang from the bar, shoulders set, knees slightly bent and together.
Steps
- Lift the knees up and to one side to hip height.
- Sweep them across the front and down the other side.
- Finish the circles one way, then reverse.
Common mistakes
Body swinging with the circle: slow the knees until the torso stays still. Circle collapsing into a swing at the bottom: control the legs all the way round. Knees drifting apart: keep them together.
Breathing
Steady throughout; never held.
