Dumbbell Stability Ball Wall Squat
Press a stability ball to the wall with your back, a dumbbell hanging at each side; squat until the thighs are parallel and drive back up through the heels.

How to do it
Setup
Pin the ball between your lower back and the wall, feet a step ahead of the hips; a dumbbell hanging at each side, arms relaxed.
Steps
- Squat until the thighs are parallel, the ball rolling up the spine.
- Keep steady pressure into the ball.
- Let the dumbbells hang straight down – the arms only carry them.
- Drive back up through the heels.
Common mistakes
Feet under the hips: the knees dive forward; step them out. Dumbbells pulling the shoulders off the ball: blades set back, the arms just carry. Cutting depth as the set tires: same depth, fewer reps.
Breathing
Inhale down, exhale up.
