Dumbbell Kneeling Triceps Kickback
The two-arm dumbbell kickback kneeling on the floor, the hips sitting back and the trunk leaning forward; the kneeling stance takes the legs out of it.
How to do it
Setup
Kneeling on the floor, hips back, trunk leaning forward with a flat back, a bell in each hand, upper arms along the ribs.
Steps
- Extend both arms back until the bells pass the hips.
- Keep the upper arms pinned along the ribs.
- Bend the elbows to bring the bells back below the shoulders.
Common mistakes
Sitting up as the arms extend: keep the lean. Swinging the bells up: lighter bells and a pause at the top. Rounding the back: chest proud, back flat.
Breathing
Exhale extending, inhale returning.
