Body-Up
From a forearm plank, straighten both elbows to rise onto the hands, then lower back: a triceps extension on the floor.
How to do it
Setup
Forearm plank, elbows under the shoulders, palms flat, body one line.
Steps
- Straighten both elbows together, lifting the forearms off the floor.
- Keep the palms planted; only the elbows move.
- Lower back onto the forearms under control.
Common mistakes
Walking the hands one at a time: that is the plank to push-up; both elbows work together. Hips piking: the body rises as one line. Dropping onto the elbows: lower slowly.
Breathing
Exhale rising, inhale lowering.
